The human voice is considered the most perfect of musical
instruments. Infinitely expressive and adaptable to all musical genres,
the human voice serves as the model wind and string instruments were
invented to imitate. From opera to country, jazz to rock, and everything
in between, singers employ specific techniques applicable to each
genre.
While singing is as simple as opening your mouth, singing
well is not. Trained singers spend years developing pitch, range,
timbre, projection, and diction skills. Classically trained singers have
the additional burden of learning pronunciation in foreign languages
including French, Italian, Spanish, and German. Our voice instructors at
Pellegrino Fine Arts Academy teach proper vocal technique as part of a
well-rounded music curriculum tailored to each student's ability and
specific goals.
