Clarinet, Saxophone, Violin, Viola, Cello, and Recorder
Pellegrino
Fine Arts Academy is pleased to introduce you to woodwind and cello
instructor, Teresa Chance. Teresa holds a Bachelor of Music Education
degree from University
of Mount Union and has taught privately in the greater Canton area since
1983. In addition to Teresa's extensive performance experience on
saxophone, clarinet, and bassoon, she is also an active
ethnomusicologist and performs with Anonymous String Band and
Tans Musiky, two ensembles devoted to the preservation and performance
of period and European folk music.
Teresa's educational philosophy is: "It is never too late to discover the joy of music. Regardless of age or ability level, there is a musician deep within each of us. My goal is to help each student discover their inner-musician and experience the joy that only music can offer." We couldn't agree more! We are very fortunate to have an instructor of Teresa's caliber on staff!
