Ryan
holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and both Bachelor's and
Master's Degrees in Architecture from Kent State University. Ryan has
taught guitar, bass guitar, and piano since 1998, and regularly performs
as a freelance musician for weddings, church services, and school
programs. Aside from private instruction, Ryan has also taught music
classes for Green Local Schools.
Ryan's educational philosophy is: "I believe in placing emphasis on music fundamentals, namely music reading proficiency and music theory comprehension. My students learn chords, scales, and performance technique while learning works of historically significant composers."
