The clarinet is one of the most versatile members of the woodwind family. With a range of five octaves, the clarinet has the largest spectrum of the woodwind instruments. Due to its unique acoustical properties, clarinet fingerings differ in each octave, and the clarinet is the only woodwind instrument with alternate keys that allow certain notes to be played with either hand.
Clarinets are found in numerous musical venues ranging from solo performance, to classical music, to jazz. Pellegrino Fine Arts Academy clarinet instructors are fluent in all styles of interpretation and can teach everything from the basics to the blues!
What are the benefits of clarinet lessons?
- One-on-one, individualized instruction tailored to meet your specific needs
- Our instructors teach proper embouchure, hand position, posture, and correct bad habits that may impede a student's progress
- Students are introduced to clarinet literature (solos, etudes, ensembles) written by foremost composers for that instrument
- Our instructors can recommend the correct reed, appropriate mouthpiece, and the right clarinet to match a student's ability level and explain the differences between beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level instruments
Pellegrino Fine Arts Academy clarinet lessons cost $112.00 per month. For your $112.00, you receive four lessons, one per week, each 30 minutes in length.
